Heaven, and what the bible says about it.

Below are scriptures to enlighten you as to the description of what heaven appears to be like or what the bible says about heaven. Many wonder about heaven, so I have provided for you an extensive list of scriptures for your enjoyment. I pray these scriptures bring you comfort and greater knowledge. According to the scriptures:

Revelation 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

John 14:2
In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

1 Corinthians 2:9
But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”.

Romans 10:9-13
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Revelation 22:1-5
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.

Luke 23:43
And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Matthew 6:19-21
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Luke 12:33-34
Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with money bags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

1 Timothy 6:17-19
As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.

And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb. By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it, and its gates will never be shut by day and there will be no night there. They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.

Hebrews 11:16
But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.

Revelation 21:21-25
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass.

John 3:13
No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.

2 Peter 3:13
But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

ENCOURAGE YOURSELF: But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

Integrity and morals, Is It Up To God’s Standard?

Integrity and morals requires doing the right thing which can often times be complicated from time to time, unless you are a child of God. Then it would go with out question what you would do, if put in a situation that called for pure integrity. God requires His people to uphold a certain standard, and not have you standing there questioning what you would honestly do.

Integrity and morals are requirements for being what we call a Christian, and no, just anything won’t do. If you know what you would do if faced with troubling circumstances that requiredgodly judgment on your part, and God would be pleased with the outcome.

Many times we call ourselves Christians or refer to ourselves as born again, but our integrity, our morals, or ethics, leaves little to be desired. When God looks down on us, I can only imagine the heartbreak He must feel because, although we confess to Christianity, we lack pure integrity or good moral compass.

We are quick to attack others when our walk with Christ is in question. We will even go as far as to rip a new hole in others when they are not as we feel they should be, preferably like ourselves is our motto. So don’t dare to be different. Whether it is sexual, race, or religion. Note that people are different, and if you believe they are in sin, model yourself after God. Love the person and hate the sin.

Helpful Tools: to assist you in being a better Christian. Reading and studying Gods word, hiding Gods word in your heart, that you might not sin against Him. Fasting and prayer, upholding a Godly standard of integrity and good morals.

In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word “integrity” means “without blemish, completeness, perfection, sincerity, soundness, uprightness, wholeness.” Integrity in the New Testament means “honesty and adherence to a pattern of good integrity and morals.”

Jesus is the perfect example of a man with integrity. After He was baptized, He went into the wilderness to fast for forty days and nights, during which time Satan came to Him at His most vulnerable moment to try to break His integrity and corrupt Him. Jesus was man and God at the same time.

He was tempted in every way we are, yet He never sinned (Hebrews 4:15); that is the definition of integrity. Jesus is the only one who was ever without blemish, perfect, truthful, and always showing a pattern of integrity and morals.

ENCOURAGE YOURSELF: In the video various individuals were put to the test, just to see what they would do. Often times, we turn our heads for fear of being involved. In a world like today, is very understandable, our world has become more and more wicked. So in certain situations, it can be tricky if you get involved, but doing the right thing or living a life for Christ will come with a price.

There might come a time when you will be tested for the sake of Christ, will you be able to uphold a standard that is pleasing to God? Or will your fear or lack of integrity cause you to give way to the devil? Giving the enemy another victory.

Don’t allow the adversary to win any trials that God has giving you the tools or power to overcome, note that being a weak minded Christian goes against everything Christ stands for. He also lets us know in His word that He will not have you lukewarm, you must either be hot or cold, otherwise He will spue you out of His mouth.

(Revelation 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.)
