Poured Out Like Water, Back in the Valley of Why?

Proverbs 22:6-Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6-Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

A mother is a person who takes care of her children from the moment she knows she is with child. She takes care of herself properly to ensure that her child is born healthy and strong. She reads good material to keep her spirit up, and she listens to soft music that is calming to her spirit. When time has come for her child to be born, there is pain like no other. After it is all said and done, the pain is forgotten. A mother looks at her child with love in her eyes; she knows that it will never fail. She holds her child close to her heart to feel the heartbeat of her child that connects them forever.

She raises her child in the ways of the Lord. She teaches her child right from wrong. She hopes that her child will always remember what they have been taught. She talks to her child about life and the things that she wants for her child. After years has come and gone, and her child has grown up , she notice changes that ought not be so. She just wonders why.

Denial?!?

She doesn’t want to accept it! She hopes and prays that it is just a phase, and hope that it will soon pass away. She loves her child, but that lingering feeling of sadness never leaves her. She asks her child of certain things, but to no avail the truth isn’t told; those around her knew and saw the truth that she didn’t want to accept.

She asks herself, where did she go wrong, and what did she do wrong for all of this to happen. She doesn’t understand any of this at all. She is frustrated by this sudden truth. She does not know what to say, think, or what what to do anymore. She has so many questions as to how can this be? How and why did this happen? She poured into her child the Word of God!! Now she feels like she has wasted her time, only to be poured out like water on a dry and thirsty ground, but it just stays on the surface never receiving the water , so the ground is still dry, parched, and cracked.

The Valley of Why?

She finds herself back in the “Valley of Why”?!? Why does things like this happen when a mother raises her child right? Why would a child turn to rebellion instead of doing what is right? Why would a child hurt their mother, father, sisters, and brothers by their wrongdoing?

It makes her feel as if what she done was not enough. It makes her question herself as a mother. It makes her feel empty and numb to the point that she cannot sleep. Her heart is just devastated! How can she accept such a thing as this? How does she deal with this kind of truth? How can she not have questions about this matter? Will things be the same? Will things be different?

A Hearts Cry

She will love the same, she will not judge, but her heart cries out for the answers that plagues her. She knows that God has all of the answers to her questions. She knows He will answer in due time.

So, for now, she will pray for strength and guidance, and she will forever love her child that she gave birth to, the child she raised. Who knows for how long due time will be? Only God, because certainly not she.

Able is a list of questions that we must sometimes ask ourselves, tell us what you think. Thank you! Your insight means a great deal.

Worship…With Joe Praize

This song- Mighty God lyrics by Joe Praize caps it all
Oh Lord, my God, Jesus
I’ll speak of Your Glory,
I will show forth Your beauty
If I dance it won’t be enough,
And If I shout it won’t be enough

Just Worship

I woke up this morning with a nagging thought in my heart; I was not feeling the morning devotion I usually have every morning before starting my day. I searched the scriptures and found the beauty of oneness in Christianity-contrary to what we have here, Christianity is about harmony, love, togetherness. Well… that is a topic for another day. Today it is all about worship and its importance. Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”

Human wants are insatiable; we keep asking and asking… not really our fault, we can blame it on our DNA, (lol). However, it does not stop us to think and reflect on how far we have come, what lies ahead and the creator who is in the center of it all. How many times have you worshipped the Lord for who He is and not what you stand to get from Him? This is where some ministers of the gospel get it wrong; they emphasize more of the material gains of praises and worship that they neglect the who reason why we worship in the first place.

If you have everything you have ever dreamt of, would you still worship God? Worship matters, not because you are in need, or because you are in church, worship matters because God loves it when we worship Him. He seeks people who will worship him in spirit and truth.

Four things you need to know about worship
Worship in truth and spirit is about your mentality-your state of mind. The motive of your songs to God.

True worshippers place their focus on God
The aim of worship should be the sole desire to honor God for who He is; it is not anchored on your likes, dislikes, mood, priorities. It is a total focus on Him.

Worship Involves letting all go, to spend time offering songs to him
Even though we are Christians, or tagged Christians, does not stop us from facing trying times, but our heavenly Father has assured us victory Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

So, before you worship God, remove your opinion, questions, worries, and worship with appropriate honor due to God. In this process, you are telling God, nothing else matters but Him.

Worships Involves Total surrender
Romans 12: 1 as stated above-you need to realize that your body, your home, car, job and everything else belong to God. He is your creator-Psalms 127:1-3 “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain, you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for He grants sleep to those he loves.”

Romans 12:1
“I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”

Worship Is Celebrating God For What He Has Done
The Psalmist could not have explained any better, read the following Psalm 100:1-5 NIV
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the Earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.
5 For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.

So what are you waiting for? Just worship Him!!! He deserves your true praise and worship

For you are the great and mighty King
You rule in every nation
Oh praise this Holy God,
You are worthy to be praised
You are Alpha and Omega, I worship you today
In you I put my trust, Your name I will extol

A Powerful Prayer

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much!

Many times we know not what to pray, in this video it let’s us know we are praying for the wrong things. We are not mindful of the tactics of the enemy, and that Satan is running rampant. Roaming, seeking whom he may devour. We as Christians must be vigilant in our walk with Christ, we must be persistent in our prayers. Because Satan the adversary wishes to sift us as wheat.

Learn the scriptures, study them to know what our God is saying. Without the word of God, without the word hidden in our hearts, we will perish, we will sin, we will go against the will of God. The word helps you fight the battles you encounter on a daily basis. When you pray God’s word, He has to live up to His word. Note that your battle can be just about anything. From lust, to lying or stealing, it could even be pride.

He says in the scriptures, His word will not return unto Him void! Oh what pleasure we have in knowing God’s word is true, and will do what it sets out to do. This is a promise from our Father.

Below is a warfare prayer that will teach and show you how one must pray. You can find great joy in this prayer, it is one of the essential tools you will need. Remember to fight with prayer my friends!

The weapons of our warfare

The word of God tells us in Ephesians 6:11-18 King James Version (KJV)

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Encourage Yourself In the Lord

2 Corinthians 1:20 New International Version

Words Of Encouragement

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Words Of Encouragements From The Bible

It does not matter how strong we think we are, sometimes in our lives, and we need the right word to boost us up; here the right word at the right time can change a whole lot. “You call me friend”

Christians do not know their inheritance in Christ; they stand to enjoy when they gave their lives to Christ. No wonder the devil is still cheating a lot of Christians today. Here is the good news; this article shows your real identity as the Child of God.

It Amazes Me That You Call Me Friend

Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

It gives me joy to write about our relationship with our Creator; the freedom and the peace that erode your heart when you finally step away from the realm of laws, into the realm of GRACE is priceless. Many Christians do not know their inheritance in Christ; they stand to enjoy when they gave their lives to Christ. No wonder the devil is still cheating a lot of Christians today. Here is the good news; this article shows your real identity as the Child of God.

You are created in the ALMIGHTY’s image

Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

When God created the heaven, the earth and everything in and out of it, He did not make any special announcement. In fact, He called them forth; Let there be light, and there was light… but when it got to your turn, He knows you are unique, a special kind of Breed… God’s own Breed. Instead of “let there be” He said “Let Us make man” He knows, you hold a special place in His heart.

You are not created by mistake

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified[a] you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

It does not matter if your parents planned giving birth to you or not, your Heavenly Father knew exactly when you are coming, and He knows your purpose here on earth. In addition, He created you so that He could have a personal relationship with you. God wants an intimate heart to heart relationship with you. Want to know why? Because you are His friend! He knows your name and every other thing about you. James 2:23 “And the Scripture was fulfilled, which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.”

A friend of the Most High

I remember while I was still a babe in Christ, anytime I go off track with God; I tend to run away from His presence because I felt He resented me for disobeying Him. I will beat myself up… guilt was all over me, and I realized the more I leave His presence, the more I do the wrong things. I do not know who needs to hear this BUT listen to this; God knew what you would do way before you did it. He knows your capabilities and weak points; however, He knew how to get you on track, and He can only show them to you when you create time for Him.

Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Psalms 91:1-2 “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him, I will trust.”
It is amazes me that He calls me His Friend, even n my shortcomings! It is an incredible feeling!

Furthermore, God can be our friend while still being our Father, and God; He wants to be your friend… A kind of friend you can rely on whenever and you can easily pour your heart without any hesitation about any problem or temptation.

What it takes…

John 15:12-17 “This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.”

The Holy Spirit and You

John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

Do you see how important you are to God? He sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay your debt, after which, He sent the Holy Spirit to you, to be with you for the rest of your life to counsel, direct, fellowship, guide you just to name a few.

The Holy Spirit is all you need

1 John 2:26-27
“26 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to [a]deceive you. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teaches you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.”

Note that nobody is qualified to tell you that you are not good enough to be in the presence of God when our Heavenly Father has not condemned you. Pastors, bishops, evangelists, teachers of the word of God are there to encourage your relationship with God, and they do not serve as a mediator between you and God. Just the way you do not need to have anyone around, before you talk to your friend is the same way you do not need permission from pastors before you talk to your Friend. You may need someone at first, but as you grow fond of each other, the third party is omitted from the equation.

Encourage Yourself In the Lord

He called me friend, how grateful am I to know I have a friend in Christ, just as you do. Be glad and rejoice in the beauty of His holiness. Remember He calls you friend, know that it is only because of His love for each of us, that He can even call us friend. It’s Amazing!

You Know My Name

No fire can burn me
No battle can turn me
No mountain can stop me
‘Cause You hold my hand
I am walking in Your victory

I am glad to know that God knows my name. It gives me great joy to know that I have the heart of God, and not only does He know my name, but He knows the number of hairs on my head. I will go as far as to say God knows me better than I know myself.

It is my prayer that you enjoy this beautiful song by Tasha Cobbs. This song is anointed even though it has so few words. The spirit of God will enrich your soul as you listen intently. Allow yourself to absorb what the Lord says to you in this song.

May the peace of God dwell in you and give you your hearts desire. Worship in the beauty of His holiness. God will hold your hand and He knows your name.

That I am Your own God, You know me
So I trust You with my life, yeah, No fire can burn me
No battle can turn me
No mountain can stop me
‘Cause You hold my hand
And I’m walking in Your victory
‘Cause Your power is within me
No giant can defeat me
‘Cause You hold my hand
No fire can burn me
No battle can turn me
No mountain can stop me
‘Cause You hold my hand
I am walking in Your victory
‘Cause Your power is within me
No giant can defeat me
‘Cause You hold my hand
No fire can burn me
No battle can turn me
No mountain can stop me
‘Cause You hold my hand
I am walking in Your victory
‘Cause Your power is within me
No giant can defeat me
‘Cause You hold my hand, You hold my hand (You hold my hand)
I don’t have to be afraid, no (You hold my hand)
I don’t have to be afraid, no (You hold my hand)
I don’t have to be afraid (You hold my hand)
You hold my hand (You hold my hand)
You hold my hand (You hold my hand)
I’m so in love with You (You hold my hand)
I’m so in love with You (You hold my hand)
You hold my hand (You hold my hand)
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh oh-oh-oh (You hold my hand)
You hold my hand (You hold my hand)
You hold my hand (You hold my hand)
You hold my hand (You hold my hand) You know my name
You know my name
You know my name
You know my name
And oh, how You walk with me
And oh, how You talk with me
Oh, how You tell me
That I am Your own

Your Name, and it’s Importance

Proverbs 22:1 “good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.”

The Importance Of Names

Names are one of the free things in life, yet they are so powerful that they can change the destiny of the bearer. We live in this world where the meaning of names do not matter, so long it is cool and trendy, then it is good. Sadly, this is a wrong mindset; names are a crucial factor in building the sense of self, and thus helping you to forge forward on various paths of life and career. Contrary to some beliefs, names are important; they contain meaning, they define who we are, and sometimes they are not what we think we are. Furthermore, they are more than letters, rhymes that are pleasing to the ear. They are a gift from God, and not just a convenience, allowing us to talk to each other.

Proverbs 22:1 “good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.”

Names define things, and they define us

As parents, be mindful of the names you give to your children; the power of life and death lies in the tongue.

God said, “Let there be light” and there was light. God name it into existence. In the same way, God has given you the power to name your children into life.

The whole creation happened because God spoke– God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water.” And there was. He called it sky. And He called the dry ground land.

From that land, God made man. He made Adam (Earth). Then God gave the power to name to Adam. Adam named the animals. And he called Eve (Mother of All). We are created in God’s image and likeness; therefore, we have the creative ability of God. God assigned Adam to name the animals, and whatever he called them was stuck forever. The same power is being passed down to us.

Change of names in the Bible

The Bible recorded men and women whose names were changed before they began to manifest as true sons and daughters of God.

In Genesis 17:1-6, From Abram to Abraham:
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the Almighty God. Obey me and always do what is right.”… God said, “I make this covenant with you: I promise that you will be the ancestor of many nations. Your name will no longer be Abram, but Abraham, because I am making you the ancestor of many nations.”

In Genesis 32:28, From Jacob to Israel:
The man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob. You have struggled with God and with men, and you have won; so your name will be Israel.”
Furthermore, many other Biblical characters with name changes and people’s names with its meaning explained, such as:
Genesis 25:24-26—The time came for her to give birth, and she had twin sons. The first one was reddish, and his skin was like a hairy robe, so he was named Esau. The second one was born holding on tightly to the heel of Esau, so he was named Jacob.

Matthew 1:21—She will have a son, and you will name him Jesus—because he will save his people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:23—”A virgin will become pregnant and have a son, and he will be called Immanuel” (this means, “God is with us“).

Learn from the story of Jabez
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying Because I bare him with sorrow.

10) And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”

As parents, there may be unpalatable situation surrounding the birth of your children, and it may be tempting to name them after such circumstances, but don’t do it. Instead, bless them with names that will impact their destiny positively. Jabez, even though he was honorable than the rest of his brothers, he was plagued with misfortune because of his name until he prayed to God, who rescued him.

There is hope
If you feel your name is affecting your life negatively, you can always ask for divine directions, and change your name. Abram was changed to Abraham, among others, and he became the father of many nations. You do not just exist here on earth; you are here for a purpose. Do not accept just any name; let your name define you.

This article passes a powerful message to the readers; it talks about the importance of names and how they impact our lives. It also encourages parents to be careful about the names they give to their children.

Zika Virus, and what you need to know

What You Need To Know About the Zika Virus

If you travel a lot, you will need to spare some minutes to read this article and learn about Zika virus. Zika virus is a flavivirus that is caused by mosquitoes; it was first identified in the eastern part of Africa-Uganda in 1947, but the virus was found in monkeys. However, in 1952, in Tanzania, and Uganda, the virus was found in humans.

Zika outbreak has been recorded in Africa, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific. In addition, there were sporadic cases of human infections across Africa and Asia from the 1960s to 1980s, and it was typically accompanied by mild illness, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

The Zika virus outbreak was first recorded in 2007 in the Island of Yap-Federated States of Micronesia and then 2013 in French Polynesia and other countries and territory in the Pacific. Brazil reported an outbreak of rash illness in March 2015, which was later identified as Zika virus infection, and it was found to be connected to the Guillain-Barré syndrome (temporary paralysis) in July 2015.

Furthermore, Brazil reported a connection between Zika virus infection and microcephaly in October 2015. The outbreaks and evidence of the transmission of the infection soon appeared all through Africa, the Americas, and other regions of the world. Currently, mosquito-transmitted Zika infection has been recorded in 86 countries and territories.

We may not know what instigated the mosquito-transmitted Zika virus, but it is spreading quickly, and it may have a significant impact on our health.

What are the risks and symptoms of Zika virus?

The common symptoms of Zika virus are red eyes (conjunctivitis), rash, fever, and joint pain. Although the illness is usually mild, the symptoms can last for several days and a week in some cases after the infected mosquito bite. The infected person may not know he or she has the virus because of the mildness of the symptoms. Moreover, people usually do not get sick enough to see their doctor, and the virus hardly kills its victim. However, there are two main risks if someone is affected by the Zika virus.

Once a pregnant woman is infected, it may infect the baby and cause microcephaly and brain injury.

There may be a temporary paralysis, also known as the Guillain-Barré syndrome, although there is a slim chance of getting the Guillain-Barré syndrome.

What are the areas with Zika virus transmission?
The United States, as well as many other countries and territories, have reported cases of mosquito-transmitted Zika virus. Unfortunately, the virus is likely to spread to new areas. It is advisable to speak to your doctor before embarking on trips and to know more about the Zika virus.

How can the Zika virus be transmitted?
• The primary source of this disease is mosquito; anyone can be affected if an infected Aedes species bite him or her.
• Through mother to her unborn baby- when a pregnant woman is infected with the virus, there is a high chance that the mother will transmit the virus to her baby during pregnancy and around the time of delivery.
• Through sexual intercourse
• Through blood transfusion, though this means of Zika transmission has not been recorded in the United States till date.

Precautions against Zika virus

Celebrate Mothers

Exodus 20:12 “Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.”

Bible Verses To Celebrate Mothers

Every human apart of Adam and Eve was brought to this world through a woman that is why today’s post is dedicated to all mothers all over the world; the importance of mothers cannot be overstated, and just one day is not enough to appreciate the works these women are doing in our lives. No matter the race, continent, or country, mother’s love is unique; it reflects the love our Heavenly Father has for us-it shows selflessness, endurance, and forgiveness. We benefit more when we honor our parents;

Exodus 20:12 “Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.”

Ephesians 6:1-3 “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.”
The Bible warned us not to take our parents for granted; one of the secrets of longevity is respect and honor for our parents. No matter what you think they have done or not done, they deserve our respect.
Proverbs 23:22 “Listen to your father who begot you,
And do not despise your mother when she is old.”
Proverbs 1:8-9 “My son, hear the instruction of your father,
And do not forsake the law of your mother; For they will be a graceful ornament on your head, and chains about your neck.”

Who is a mother?

On the contrary, a mother must not necessarily be your birth mom; it is someone who possesses the character of a mother. So, whether you have a birth mother or not, there is someone in your life who loves you irrespective of your shortcomings, who is selfless, dedicated to seeing your growth.

A mother is a pastor, a teacher, a judge, a doctor, a singer, a friend, a maid, and not just the female version of a human being.

Furthermore, the Bible shows us many women who are excellent examples of a mother’s sacrifice and hard work, and if you look around you, I believe you can count up to 10 women who are blessings to their family. Below are Bible verses that celebrate mothers, and show them the way to becoming great women of faith.

Proverbs 31:10-30 “10 who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil. All the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, and willingly works with her hands. She is like the merchant ships; she brings her food from afar. She also rises while it is yet night, and provides food for her household and a portion for her maidservants. She considers a field and buys it; From her profits, she plants a vineyard.

She girds herself with strength and strengthens her arms. She perceives that her merchandise is good, and her lamp does not go out by night. She stretches out her hands to the distaff, And her hand holds the spindle. She extends her hand to the poor. Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy.
She is not afraid of snow for her household, For all her household is clothed with scarlet. She makes tapestry for herself; her clothing is fine linen and purple. Her husband is known in the gates.

When he sits among the elders of the land, she makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies sashes for the merchants. Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household And does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.” Charm is deceitful, and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.”

The above scripture shows the secret to a wonderful recipe for a happy home; a good mother holds power to turn her home into heaven on earth or hell. That is why as a woman and a potential mother, be mindful of what you say to your husband, and children because words are powerful, whatever you speak into their lives they become. Speak peace, love, joy, into their lives and not evil.

Encourage Yourself In the Lord

Some might think it’s a little too late to give recognition to mothers today, but it isn’t I tell you. If I would have had the type of relationship I longed for with my mother, I promise you I would cherish her everyday. I would not allow a day to go by and not call or see her. A good mother is few and far between these days.

So if you have a decent mother, one with morals and integrity, one who loves Jesus, one that would put God first, and than family. One who is virtuous, and wise in all her dealings. You have been blessed. Love and cherish her like no other. Let her know just how important she is.

Grow up and be mature, do not allow anger to overcome you, if she says something you don’t quite agree with. A good mother only has your best interest at heart.

Aim to do the right thing, considering her before your self. Remember to pray for each other!
