Cake Smashing! Mission Accomplished Grandma, Mission Accomplished!

A peek inside my grandson Chase’s first Birthday Party and Cake Smashing.

An awesome celebration of Chase Bussard Rowe’s 1st Birthday even though our hearts where in pain because of the loss of his father one week prior. One of the biggest challenges for his great-grandparents and my daughter Courtney, was to celebrate the love we had for this little bundle of joy, after just days of releasing his father into the hands of God. In the pics below, you will see Chase in a cake smashing, Skyler’s (daddy) boots and cowboy hat.

At Chase’s party his grandpa Chad brought his father’s ashes to his great-grandmother Cindy’s house. The party was excellent, the house filled with peace, love, and joy even though deep down inside everyone’s heart was still heavy. Somehow we just knew Skyler’s spirit was present. The gang was all there and it could not have been a better party. Chase’s brothers Mark and Tyler blew out the candles for Chase.

Man this is fun!
Mmm, grandma!
Feels weird
Smash it?

Look daddy’s boots!
Daddy’s hat.

Just above you see pictures of Chase with his father Skyler, we are grateful for these precious moments. Skyler was a skinny little guy but had such a huge presence when he entered a room. He will be missed by all who loved him. May the peace of God rule in your hearts both now and forever. Skyler Bussard will never be forgotten, At 21, God called Skyler home on January 23, 2018. He is now in the Arms Of An Angel! I Love you daddy! Chase Bussard Rowe
