Faith Finds A Way

Thoughts to Inspire yourself in the Lord, by knowing and believing that faith will find a way to help you tunnel through your circumstances.

We often hear that faith is having assurance for what we hope for and certain of what we cannot see. Different scholars and religious teachers have come up with different definitions of faith, and yes it all boils down to the fact that if we truly claim to have faith, we must first believe and of course in what we cannot see or ascertain. Faith in today’s world is generally attributed to Christians and the Christian life, but for a fact, no matter your religion, country or tradition, one way or the other we come to find ourselves believing or hoping for a particular thing which might or not come to pass.

Let’s not contradict the point, faith is not exactly “belief”. Believing is only a demonstration of faith. To have faith entails ones belief in a particular thing or person, especially one seen as supreme over others. Most times, we hear people say ‘Have faith in God’, because God is supreme. The Bible in Hebrews 11, makes it clear what faith is and why we should have faith in God.

The Bible has shown us different examples of believers who had faith in God and how their faith made ways for them. Whether the circumstance are seen or unseen, now or in the future, faith always finds a way. This talk about faith is not complete without mentioning the father of faith himself, Abraham, whom by faith became the father of all nations. Because of a barren man who had total faith in God, today we can shout that we are heirs and we can sing of father Abraham, I know you sing it too!

Faith finds a way to bring you out of your darkest times, faith finds a way to give you peace and even more abundantly, the power of faith is solid in making ways where there seems to be no way, opening closed doors and going the extra mile spiritually which results in physical victory. Your Christian life is not complete without faith. Your faith takes your plea, worries and burdens to God’s feet, and there he makes a way and gives permanent answers to your life problems. Living by faith is living a just life, a life with the absence of fear.

Faith is a gift and a gift is free. In any difficult situation, we find ourselves, we shouldn’t give up the fact that faith FINDS and MAKES a way. Faith speaks when there is nothing to hold on to. God honours our faith in him as it shows total surrender and dependence on him. Faith found a way for Noah, Rahab, and Moses of old,  God is the same yesterday, today and forever. All you need to do is believe that God is able and willing, surrendering totally to his will, and how will you do this? Through your actions! Not forgetting that faith without work is dead.

Mark 11:22-24 And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

MOTIVATIONAL SCRIPTURES: Hebrews 11:1-13:25
RBy faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks.
By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.

ENCOURAGE YOURSELF: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Be not deceived; God is Not Mocked: For Whatsoever a Man Soweth, That Shall He Also Reap.

According to Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is Not Mocked: For Whatsoever a Man Soweth, That Shall He Also Reap.

Deceive is to give a mistaken impression.
To mock is to tease or laugh at in a scornful or contemptuous manner. “He mocks them as Washington insiders” synonyms:  ridicule, jeer at, sneer at, deride, scorn, make fun of, laugh at, scoff at, tease, taunt.
The definition of Soweth: (archaic) third-person singular simple present indicative form of sow. In the King James Version of the Bible (Authorized Version) Proverbs 22:8, He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.
Receive (a reward or benefit) as a consequence of one’s own or other people’s actions.

Most people have the belief that once they ask for forgiveness from God, all their sins are truly passed away. The sins are actually washed away, but the effects of sinful ways cannot be escaped. God definitely forgives the sins of Christians because of the everlasting grace the death of Christ brought upon the human race. This article centers on the fact that God cannot be mocked by purposeful sinning; whatsoever a man does, that definitely shall he reap. A life of sin definitely cannot go unpunished.

The various reasons why a life of sin cannot go unpunished are as follows:
The Bible already declares so- A life of sin cannot go unpunished because the Bible which serves as a guide, lays emphasis on it. Most people would naturally assume that no sin is too much to be forgiven. But this is not the case. Stealing from your neighbor can be forgiven by God and your neighbor but that doesn’t change the fact that your image as a Christian has been tarnished. The same goes for higher degrees of sin. There is an after effect for any form of sin committed, no matter how little it might seem.

All sins have effects on those that committed them- Christians who constantly perpetrate sins on the notion that they can always be forgiven are making a mockery of the word of God and here’s why. Sins that are knowingly committed can be regarded as the worst kind of sins. These are the worst kind because there’s an understanding of the fact that grace helps to outweigh all sins. On knowing that, there’s a decision to keep committing sin just because they would always be forgiven. This fact puts the word of God at a point of mockery.

Knowingly living in sin can be regarded as a mockery to God- In a situation where humans blindly live in sin and hold the notion that they shall ask for forgiveness and be forgiven can be categorized as making a mockery of God. God sees all and knows all. God knows the sins that are committed unknowingly. God alone knows a truly repentant heart. It is declared in the Bible that whatever it is a man does, what exactly shall he reap. If a man carries out hateful acts towards his neighbor under the disguise of being forgiven, hateful acts shall also be done to the individual.

Forgiveness of sin does not imply that we’re given the liberty to keep committing sins as we like- Humans have taken the forgiveness of God to mean that whatever sin it is we commit would overlook. Even we as humans would not stand and watch other humans carry out wicked acts towards us and ask for forgiveness after. So, if we as humans would not tolerate purposeful sins then why should we assume that God ordinarily forgives conscious sins.

We can encourage ourselves in the Lord, by realizing that the quicker we as humans understand that God reads the intentions of sins before forgiving them. The better for us, whatever it is, we categorize as sin should be avoided.

The Mysteries Of God

Key points you should know about God to help you throughout your Christian walk that will help encourage your faith in the Lord.

Mark 4:11 “And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables.”

Without an iota of doubt, the Kingdom of God is full of mysteries. Jesus Christ’s life here on earth was embedded in mysteries, from the birth, His teachings, healings, His death, and Resurrection are mysteries.
We cannot decipher the ways of God with our little brains. Isaiah 55:9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Think of it, can you heal a blind man by putting mud in his eyes? John 9:1-12. How can a woman with an issue of blood be healed just by merely touching the hem of a garment? How did Jesus feed the multitude with five loaves and two fishes? What about Elisha when he told Naaman to dip himself in water seven times, and leprosy will disappear (2 Kings 5:10)? There are many mysterious miracles recorded in the Bible, and also in our present day.

Unfortunately, we have restricted God’s miracle from manifesting in our lives all because we think it is not possible. We forget that with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

The word of God is encoded in mysteries, that’s why the Psalmist says in Psalm 119:18 “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” You need the help of the Holy Spirit to understand God’s thought behind the words, if not the bible will be nothing more than a book with outrageous stories.

The Holy Communion
One of the mysteries of the Kingdom of God is the Holy Communion; the blood and the flesh of Christ. Many Christians are yet to understand the mystery behind the Holy Communion; some have reduced it to church meal that you can take sanctimoniously. What if I tell you the Communion is more than that? Luke 22:19-20 “And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
Whenever we drink of the Blood and eat of the Flesh of Jesus, we nourish our body both physically and spiritually. I need you t focus on what you are about to read now if you grab the rhema, your divine health in Christ Jesus is sure. Jesus Christ himself explained the Communion to us. The process of partaking in the Communion, there is a blood transfusion going on; your natural blood mix up with the blood of Jesus therefore, whatever cannot be found in Jesus blood cannot be found in you (John 6:56). No sickness, diseases, can withstand the blood of Jesus in you.

When you take the communion, death is far from you; whatever couldn’t kill Jesus here on earth cannot harm you. The blood of Jesus is life; whosoever drink and eat of the Communion cannot be harassed by the devil any longer. The blood of Jesus is our weapon to destroy the device of the devil Revelation 12:11.

The Holy Communion will answer for you if you believe; John 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” May God open your eyes so that you see and understand the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, AMEN.

How tithing is beneficial to your life naturally and spiritually

Many church goers don’t realize the Benefits Of Tithing and often miss out on their blessings. Here are a few encouraging thoughts for you to take heed to. You will be blessed you did.

Tithing is mandatory for all Christians as commanded by God in the book of Malachi. Tithing is necessary for Christians; as refraining from paying tithes is seen as robbery by God. Malachi 3:8 says “Will a man rob God? Yet You have robbed me!. But you say, ‘in what way have we robbed you?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed me, even this whole nation”. This emphasizes the importance of tithing to God.

Curses are the consequences for not tithing, so what are the benefits to be derived from tithing? God attaches a lot of blessings to tithing, which a regular tither is sure to benefit. Malachi 3; verses 10-12 contain the benefits that God promised a tither. These benefits are to be enjoyed by the tither and the church and extend to the nation as a whole.

God admonished us to bring our tithes to the church, so there may be food in the house of God; which is the church. The church which is the body of Christ would be edified with our tithes, thereby bringing the blessings of God onto the church, and its members therein. God promises to open the windows of heaven, and pouring on tither blessings that would be so great, there will not be enough room to receive it. This represents divine increase and multiplication in every area of life for a tither. These blessings guarantee prosperity, sound health and peace of mind for a believer.

God also promises to rebuke the devourer from destroying the fruit of your ground. A faithful tither will have his business safe as God will protect it from the devil and his devices. A tither’s business would be safe from fraud, sabotage, and theft; while also having job security and earning good profits. God’s word in Malachi 3:11 “Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field” signifies God’s that a tither’s endeavor would always prosper, no matter what career or business, you are into, regardless of the economic conditions at the time.

Tithing also prospers a nation, as a nation of faithful tithers would be a nation of blessed citizens. This would bring growth and development to all aspects of the economy. Malachi 3:12 says “And all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land”, says the Lord of hosts”, validating this promise of national prosperity.

Tithing regularly shows your faithfulness to God and, He will be happy to enlarge your coast. Tithing to the church, which helps in building the church supports the Great Commission of spreading the gospel. It is also useful in catering for the less fortunate in the church and society at large. Tithing also guards Christians against selfishness, as Act 20:35 teaches that it is more blessed to give than to receive.

ENCOURAGE YOURSELF: God loves believers who obey his words, and as such faithful tithers are sure to experience the hands of God working powerfully in their lives.
